NMC CBT Sample Questions & Study Material
since October 2014, nurses and midwives trained outside the European Economic Area who are seeking UK registration must pass the NMC test of competence. This test comprises of two sections and, measures candidates against current Pre-enlistment training guidelines. It evaluates the essential professional knowledge, attitudes, and states of mind required for sheltered and successful nursing or midwifery practice in the UK.
Nursing in the UK is made up of separate and distinct fields of practice, each requiring three years of Pre-registration for undergraduate education.
It is a computer-based test (CBT). The CBT is multiple choice test and can be taken at a Pearson VUE test center available in most countries around the world.
Applicants will be given a short instructional exercise on the most proficient method to utilizing the computer before beginning the examination.
